Chicago and Cleveland
Chicago, Cleveland and Northwest Ohio came into today with appoximaely 150 vets and 100 guardians. It was a breezy 82 degrees and Senator Dole was on hand to greet the vets as were Jeff Miller and Earl Morse. Mary Pettinato of Chicago is shown here "reunited" with her veteran. The pictures from the day can be found at the Photo Site and as usual can be downloaded for free.
Very cool that veterans get the chance to visit this awesome monument. I can't wait to see it myself. Honoring veterans and current military personnel is one of the most fulfilling things an American can do. Check out PostMilitary.com to find out how people are doing their part to help veterans around the country.
